architectural details
Detailing connections of materials. In this example, an outdoor light can inset into a rammed earth footing, while also becoming a lighting feature for the wall. Followed by a stone drain to protect rammed earth wall from water coming off the land, as well as an aesthetic boarder. Including connections of timber joists to rammed earth via chemical anchors. Photorealism
Software modelling can be combined with rendering programs such as 3dsMAX to communicate to the clients and buyers, relatable imagery. As well as being a guided for architectural color pallets and design options.

About
My name is Rosie McCutcheon, I am currently practicing within the design industry of Walyalup (Fremantle), Whadjuk Boodja. My 10-year practice includes multidisciplinary art and design that intertwines with my Masters of Architecture. I have had the privilege to contribute to several creative projects and design firms, that assist local communities. Including the Collie Mural Trail with To&Fro Studios, a collaborative project embedding a unique sense of community and place into the Collie Mural Trail. The INCOMING program for the Fremantle Biennale, a collective of artists within the site-responsive contemporary festival. I am currently employed with specialised design firm, Little Rhino Designs, designing Public Artwork in collaboration with Noongar Artist, Peter Farmer, using Rhino 3d modeling software, detailing in Autocad, and finalising in the Adobe Suite. I’m looking forward to taking the next step in the design industry, collaborating with other designers, and furthering my knowledge while assisting the community and land.
